Self-climbing formwork for dam

The self-climbing formwork of the “SC” series is a product of new conception designed to meet the constructive requirements of those dams for which the “RCC” (“Rolled Compacted Concrete”) system is employed.

The casting system of the “RCC” dam, the most used on the job-sites, consists of a conveyor belt train which, starting from the concrete batching plant, reaches the dam body in several times and, from here, either with some other conveyor belts of by dumper, provides the distribution of continuous concrete coats of 15-30 cm on the whole dam development. Then the compactor rollers, according to the systems, come in operation with different features and vibration sequences.
